Hybrids and some special morphs produce far less viable offspring for genetic reasons.

So isn't it degrading to the species as a whole when we start mucking with CB programs that stray from the natural order of nature? Don't get me wrong I'll be first in line for a bad a$$ morph, but I believe this is what Phillipe is talking about when he talks about the demise of many non Chacoan Crannies.

The phantom is a special morph of cranwelli. Bob and philippe made the first fantasys. He also produced this pair of ornata x joaz.

I think that if the ornata x joaz. Hybrids are fertile they should be named. That way they are not confused with c. Joaz. Pure blooded animals. They do look very much alike.

Yes the special morphs are very striking and beautiful, but at a cost. I love the colorful morphs, but would love one of the wild Chacoan cranwelli or Ornata. My unicorn is the C.aurita. I would be fine even if I didn't have a pair, but just 1.
