Don't feed waxworms. The exoskeletons have more chitin than crickets or roaches and cause impaction. If he won't take crickets try ordering some dubia roaches. My frog is incredibly picky, and she used to love them before I switched her to a nightcrawler-only diet.
Wrong worm DV. Waxworms are maggots and cause impaction in large amounts because their skin doesn't always digest properly leaving and empty skin sack that can sometimes cause blockages. The main problem with Waxies are fat content.
