So hopefully im not the first idiot to crack a tank more specifically a 120gal(24x48x24)...thankfully nothing in it, but was planning on making it a viv....

Its alil over a 1/4" thick glass....thankully just the front was cracked...Should i scrap it? or replace the front...how should i go about it? i thought of hot knifing the corners where the frame is and cutting the silicone on the edges and converting the lid in to a sliding top....any thoughts???
