    Default Substrate question

    Hi, how u all doing?I'm new to frog keeping and wanted to learn more so, I joined this forum.
    1.Is it safe to use pure/100% grounded coconut fiber that is used for planting for my albino pacman?
    2.I know that coconut fiber have to be moisten when keeping frogs but will they mold? O.O

    Yes most people use ground coco fiber for substrate. It is mold resistant but it could grow mold if it is left to wet or unchanged for to long

    Make sure it's not treated with pesticides or fertiliZers. I'd buy the compressed bricks from the pet store since its made for pets.

    Coco fiber is the only substrate you should use to keep it simple. It's mold and fungus resistant. Keep it moist (wet but not soupy).
