I have had my Gray tree frog for many many years and he died today with no indication of why. He has been active but he hasn't been vocal for the past couple of days. I had him in a tank with some WTF, green tree frog, and fire belly toads. I have found many websites that say that FBT could be the cause of his demise.
Do you agree in this? I have taken the FBT out of the enclosure and will be housing them separately now because I do not want to risk anyone else getting sick or dying from them.
Sorry to hear of your loss I lost one of my White's last month, with no prior warning and it sucks.
Also, I'm pretty sure that a lot of knowledgeable people on this forum will advise against mixing species in one terrarium.
I'm surprised it lived that long in a mixed terrarium. Also, bear in mind that frogs aren't usually long-lived animals - if you got the gray tree frog as an adult, then it may just have died of old age.

Welcome aboard and so sorry for your loss. Its never a good idea to mix amphibian species as most can be toxic, some more so than others. Of the group you mentioned the fire-belly is the most toxic, but the others also produce toxins, so seperating them ASAP is a very good idea.
I have had my green and White's tree frogs for about 5 years now.
Sorry for your loss, especially when you've had one of the little guys for a number years, it's no fun to have to bid them farewell.
I'm a species mixer, but I would not mix FBT with anything else.
