Default Lets see your "Blue" horned frogs please.

I know this forum seems to usually be reserved for "My frog blinked its eye...HELP!"....that is a joke; Take it as one; but I have been wanting a Blue ornate horned frog. Mikesfrogs educated me some recently on the Blue Line ornates and they are really more red than blue I think. Anyway, can you folks post up your blue frogs for me? Preferably without the blue light on em....lol

I know they aren't going to be perfect blue color, but want to make a decision on what to get. Ornates and cranwellis. I wanna see your blue frogs. I am thinking the Samurai Blues are my best bet for a blue frog, but tell me what you think. Maybe I'll feed Rhino some wimpy Azurus darts and see if he turns blue.

This is Peco, he's awesome. The last four pictures are the most recent, the first five are from the day I got him.

His colors have dulled a bit because I gave him a fake plant to hide under for comfort, he tried to blend in. You can tell from the last four pictures.. he brightens up with a good soak.

Yes! It will be OK....don't panic......just stare at your frog without blinking.....it might take a while....but if you win the staring contest he'll learn not to blink in your presence. Lol

Pico is awesome! (Except for the scrotum hanging off his chin....lol). What is he? Where'd you get him?

lol, his nickname is halfsack, he prefers to let it flop like that for some reason. I got him from a guy at a reptile show here in michigan. He got him from samurai reptiles a couple years ago, he's a cranwelli. Very cool frog, he has the funniest face expressions of all my frogs.

I don't have any adult peppermints. I have 2.5 in babies that are almost showing adult color. I will post pics of them in a few weeks

There are no Blue Ornates DeeDub. The Samurai Blues and Peppermints are C. cranwelli. Blue Line Ornates are the only Ornate Horned Frogs with blue/green color.

I work in customer service for my local cable tv company, where most of us are not laughing while on the phones unlike me visualizing the subject matter. Hence while my supervisor was passing thru & Im giggling, I have become appreciative of the panic button.
