Default New Mossy Frog, Need Some Advice on Set_Up

Just got this guy a little bit ago, and I'm getting mixed ideas for what to give this guy for a perfect home. He's in a ExoTerra 12x12x12 at the moment with a big water dish and 2 pieces of wood and just a fake plant for coverage. I have a 29 paladarium set up almost ready but he would be to small for it I think. Have this tank that he is in to do whatever to, a 28x18x18 ExoTerra to do whatever with and a Bunch of vertical 10s and horizontal 10s. Just would like to know what would be best for him and his journey. Have access to basically anything too

I think a 29g paludarium would be good for a small group of these guys. The size tank you have him in or even a 10g horizontal would be fine for him as well. I get the impression that verticality isn't all that necessary for these guys. They're supposedly fairly aquatic, Pat Nabors says that his are always found in or very close to the water. Most setups i've seen for them are really just a bunch of branches and rocks rising out of the water. Because of their preference for water and the lack of need for vertical space, I think the 10g horizontal would be great.

Just my thoughts. I'd really like to get a group of these in a 40g or so, I just keep missing any really good deals on them.

Best of luck, that frog looks awesome!

I'd recommend a paludarium these frogs love to sit on a bank half way in half out in the water. they love water.

Id recommend a bigger tank then the second care sheet says. 10g is really small for two. they are a decent size frog so give them space. your tank should be fine he'll grow into it. Im going to use a 55g for four just to give you an idea. And they like water so make sure you give them that; bigger water bowl . id ask pinkfeet for info she owns two and will know more from experience. That just what i know from doing lots of research. I want to get some soon.
He's gorgeous, I'm jealous. Can't wait to see the tank you come up with for him.

My opinion is that 10g is too small, even though they stay in the water during the day at night they are active and use my whole 35 gallon hex tank. I have two that I have had for 5-6 months in that tank. The place where I ordered from has some available last time I checked and they are only $45.
