I recently registered with hopes of educating myself regards to glow in the dark mushroom growing kits. Im very interested in purchasing a kit for my father for a christmas gift. I am not aware if there are better kits then others?
I did read somewhere that there is a difference between mushroom kits and habitat kits? Is this true? What would you recommend for the best product and money spent? I would prefer something with less time for incubation period. I look forward to any help finding my dad the best glow in the dark mushroom growing kit/habitat for christmas.
Much appreciation
i bought mine on ebay. and they worked great. they haven't caused any problems for my frog either.....they take a little bit about a month... i think. i'd have to look at the directions agian... lol but its worth the wait. once they start popping out they grow like daisies.
this is the one i used. Glow in The Dark Mushroom | eBay just look around you might be able to find other deals on ebay for same brand cheaper or on other places. hope that helps.

Bill for a while there, i thought u meant the frogs can do karate chops
Was planning to get them inside the imitator and ventrimaculata tank
it is my understanding that some of the frogs bred in some of the Asiatic countries are well trained in the art of ninjitsu. Stealthy little buggers and can kill a man with one flick of a toe pad....lol
seriously though. i would let the cultures of mushrooms grow for about a month or so before adding them into a tank established with frogs. you can probably grow them in a plastic container separately and then place whatever you are growing them on right into the enclosure
