So I haven't posted on this forum in a long time. Not since I rescued Butterscotch the Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman. Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately that event has spun everything else out of control. And here I am with a handful of other dedicated reptile and amphibian enthusiasts forming a reptile sanctuary.

We realized that the US has only ONE other reptile sanctuary that offers life-time care for reptiles and amphibians (not a rescue that rehomes and rehabs but actually offers a permanent home) And with the ever growing numbers and popularity of reptiles (which is awesome for responsible owners- but not so for irresponsible ones-) it seems like a second one on the East Coast would be beneficial. We focus mainly on large, aggressive, or difficult-to-keep species that would be hard to find new homes for.
