Weeeellll. Frog Addiction.
That's really all I have to say right?
This little one is now part of our frog family. We are kind of hoping for a female, since our other two Ornates are definite males. But I have noticed that Pacs have a tendency to turn out to be the opposite of which ever gender you are hoping for. And I seem to have a knack for picking out males. So we shall see. He/she is a fiesty little thing. Definitely didn't want to sit still for pictures (hence the blurry shots).
He/she had a nice big bowel movement in the bath, which is always a good sign. And it has already demolished 3 wax worms and a chunk of nightcrawler. It probably would have eaten more waxies but you don't want to overfeed those. Anyway, we are very happy with our newest addition!

 that is a beautiful baby and very much like my little onehow long have you gone without getting a frog? where did you get her/him?
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Thanks Lija!
It's been exactly one month and thirteen days since the last frog mysteriously showed up at my home.(No, I didn't know that off the top of my head.) He/she is from a local chain called Jack's Pets. I have a couple others from there as well.
I kind of have a thing for even numbers, so I think I'll be set with twelve for a while. It's neat to be up to twelve on the twelfth month of 2012. At least I think so.And this little one seemed like the perfect choice!
At least you got it in before the world ends on the 12th =p
2.0 Bombina orientalis
1.0 Bufo americanus
0.1.1 Ceratophrys cranwelli
0.1 Xenopus laevis
All my arachnids and other inverts listed in my profile
4 days before my birthday!!
yes yes yes! Grif I like it, there are 12 months in a year, therefore you gotta get 12 frogs each year now! no other way around it! perfect birthday gift to yourself, right?

He is a pretty ornate. I like how he has two false eye spots behind his right eye. Hopefully he will turn into a big beautiful mother female for you guys! (knowing your track record, I'm already assuming it's a "he," lol!)
oh yes! there's no such a thing as too many
just think, they're so cute and little and those eyes looking right into your soul begging to please, please take me home![]()

it kinda sucks to have birthday on Christmas day. Friend of mine was born on dec 26, so she always was getting presents for Christmas only, with a little something on her actual birthday. as a child she was really mad at her mom for that lol, she got over it now or she says so, it is probably have something to do with a fact that her daughter was born on dec 28![]()

Very pretty ornate
I hope it turns out to be a female for you. I still don't know what my two ornates are, the bigger (green) one has seemed to stop growing at close to 4", and "she" is around 7 - 8 months old now. My red one is still slowly growing I think. No sign of nuptial pads on either one.
