Default New Pacman owner needs a little help

Well, I have jumped head first into frogs and we rescued our first Pacman frog, a young little guy/girl. I have a 20 LOng aquarium with the UTH on the side of the tank to provide heat. I live in MN and it does get cold here. I was wondering what his/her cage requirements are? I looked at the care sheet here, you guys are sooo helpful. So I got what he needs for basics but what sort of cage decoration does he need to feel safe? I have him on coconut fiber and I small dish for him t sit in and a half log but it looks so empty, I just want to make him as happy as can be!! Thanks!

I use a minimalist set up for my Pacman, he's got a few fake plants and logs, and although big enough for him to hide under he tends to just burrow in the open and wait for food to come

Although these little dudes get pretty big, they don't need as big a tank as you would think, but personally I wouldn't go smaller than something 45cm² (18in²) floor area wise for an adult.

He about 3 inches from head to butt. And also I read on the care sheet here that one end should be misted and and one side should be drier, is this correct? I went out and got distilled water to mist with. Anything else I should be doing?

20 gallons is a little big for a 3" frog, but cover 3 sides with some sort of background, add fake plants and some hides. The substrate should never be dry. What the care sheet is referring to is a warm side and a cooler side. Of course where the UTH is will be the warm side and the water dish should be on the cool side. You will mist the entire enclosure to be sure humidity stays up and that all remains moist.

Be sure the water dishes are shallow. No deeper than up to the frog's chin. You may want to cover 3/4 of the screen top with Saran Wrap or Plexiglass. Drill holes in the Plexiglass to allow ventilation. If you can't gain the required temps you may need a heat lamp. In which case you will want a Fluker's 8.5" clamp lamp with dimmer switch and use incandescent bulbs with a wattage no higher than 50.
