Anyone know of if there is a more accurate digital hygrometer and thermometer out there than the zoo med digis? I dont like using combometers because they dont seem to be as accurate, nor update as fast. Thanks a bunch for everyone's help.![]()
I don't have any tips on thermometers. I just use several analog and one digital and they generally agree within a few degrees. For humidity, I use an analog hygrometer used in tobacciana and humidors. Then get a calibration kit like this one: Amazon.com: Quality Importers Humidi-Pak One-Step Hygrometer Calibration Kit, Humidors: Home & Kitchen
I use Hygrotherm units and they will control the climate for you. They're very accurate, but expensive. Combined with a Reptifogger they do wonders. These units are only off by about 1° and 1%.
Ive used the hygrotherm before for a water dragon. They are badass.
