who would you recommend getting plants from?

So on my first tank we got plants from black jungle and nearly all of them died. except the jewel orchid and another one i can't remember the name. we tried a lot of the other plants 2-3 times but they all died each time....:/ so who would you guys recommend getting plants from?

Most of my plants came from a nearby nursery with a great house plant section (try calling your local nurseries for one that stocks house plants) or walmart or home depot. As long as you're not fussy about varieties you can do pretty well at big box stores.

Are you sure you were giving the plants you've tried the conditions they need to thrive?

depends on the plants you are looking for. i can give you a bunch of highly recommended sources, but checking local nurseries is great as well. i got quite a few plants for my 125 in a nursery that had a wonderful terrarium section. and quite a few more from a local shop that sells nothing but houseplants. that place is a gem

REally<<<? iv always had good luck with black jungle and joshs frogs i give 2 thumbs up but... I second on the near by nursery. I have had good luck in that aspect as well and some times they have some really good specimens in on occasion some exotics you don't normally see. Best of luck to you =o)

yeah...I dont know the jewel orchid and these two pictures I dont know what kind they are. they are sideways sorry...sry about the quality. if you look on my albums you might see the plants better in my vivarium photos. all lived out 12-15 diffrent plants i bought from them....

fun plants....one or two big ones for her to climb on and some colorful vibant ones and some ground cover plants

yea im sure we triple checked that the plants would work in my tank and i even used their ideal growing areas as refrence when placing them in my tank....

Nah.....they are good people to do business with. I have ordered from them a few times in the past. If they get some new business from that post, i'll be happy for them

I really can't say. I have never ordered one from then, but i'll know in a few weeks.

Yes they do. Which is good, because i really want a ficus benjamina for the red eye tank that's next on my list and they have dwarves!!

Thanks savannah they are amazing little guys. But start your tank off a lil smller at first so you can monitor them. But I find these guys to b lil pigs when it cones to feeding time I plan on getting more but I highly reccomend Patrick from Saurian Enterprises, Inc :: Buy Dart Frogs :: Dart Frogs and other Frogs :: Other Frogs he was so helpful an the frogs came with the greatest of care an were amazing from day one plez share when you do get some. I plan on placing a order with him for his notch clutch an when he has his cinnamon frogs back in as well. Working on there tiny set up as we speak then it's super tiger leg monkey frogs an mint terribilies hopefully .

lol i love all the names of the frogs your wanting to get. i think my tank is a 50 gal....to big for starters?? even if adult?? but i think i want babes. lol ^_^
