My pacman frog is not eating and seems weak

4. Temperature-75+
5. Water - type -tap water, use stress coat to declorintate
6. Materials used for substrate-exo terra plantation soail
7. Enclosure set up i.e. plants (live or artificial), wood, bark and other materials. just a piece of tree bark
- How were things prepared prior to being put into the viv. Not sure what this is
8. Main food source-crikets/superworms
9. Vitamins and calcium? (how often) calcium twice a week, but stopped after switching to superworms
10. Lighting- only my room light.
11. What is being used to maintain the temperature of the enclosure - undertank heater
12. When is the last time he/she ate 3-4 weeks ago
13. Have you found poop lately - no
14. A pic would be helpful including frog and enclosure (any including cell phone pic is fine) - look at earlier post
15. How old is the frog-around not sure had him for about 8 months
16. How long have you owned him/her - 8 months
17. Is the frog wild caught or captive bred - bought from pets marts so not sure
18. Frog food- how often and if it is diverse, what other feeders are used as treats - did not give the frog any treats besides just his crikets
19. How often the frog is handled- only when cleaning the tank
20. Is the enclosure kept in a high or low traffic area- low
21. Describe enclosure maintenance (water changes, cleaning, etc) mist a couple times a day and keep his bowl filled at all times. changed substrate once a week.



also could i use a uv light to warm up the enclosure some more, i can't crank up the voltage on my under tank heater until i get my digital thermostat. the temp just above the soil is reading 75 and i do not have a temp probe to measure the temp in the soil.

Is it UVB? It should be fine temporarely. UVB also stimulates the production of Vitamin D3, but with no calcium to metabolize it wont help with the MBD. Use the light for day, but not night. Make him comfortable. If you can also buy a space heater and use it to heat the room hes in.

my god, that is bad, really bad ((((((((( on top of what was said the frog seems to be very small for 8month old, but there's nothing really to compare, i might be wrong. although with MBD that bad it would explain the size.....

please do what you were advised, but you need to take a frog to a vet asap, you won't be able to deal with that on your own, that is very bad case to deal with even for experienced keeper.

The picture of Trevor in my avatar was somewhere between 7 to 9 months. A male probably would be a little smaller.

I have him in the pedialyte bath right now, i also moved the uth to side of the tank. I will be calling the vet places around me to see if they also serve pac man frogs.

it is a UVB. Now he is not really reactive only really moving when i pick him up to put him into baths and such.
