I should be getting a white-lipped tree frog soon, and I had some questions.
- Depending on how expensive they are, I may be getting either one or a pair. From what I've heard a 30 gallon, vertically oriented tank should do the trick, but would this size be good for a pair as well?
- I've been reading books, and there are some conflicting opinions about proper substrate. Is a standard rainforest substrate better (natural looking, keeps humidity up, but possible impaction risk) or is a simple paper towel substrate better (simple & easy to clean, but also a pain to replace all the time)? Or is really just a matter of personal preference?
- Interestingly enough I'm also hearing conflicting opinions about their behavior. Are they very active during the night, or are they not very active, even at all hours?
