Glad you are pointing out information about country animal importation laws and associated costs with them. Buying and importing one to a few species from another country can make each individual animal cost in the thousands $$$$. It's only when an importer gets hundreds of specimens that the licensing/transportation cost can be spread over them and they can become "affordable" at destination.
For example, to bring any animals into US you would need a licensed exporter to prepare and package specimens, air shipment, a licensed importer/transhipper to receive species at airport and process through customs and later quarantine them when required, and finally air shipment to owner.
