Yep, he's definitely shedding. They can shed more or less often depending on the humidity and their growth period. They grow fast as juveniles so they shed often. They will open their mouths wide to losses the skin. They will roll their bellies and push the skin forward with their back legs. They'll wiggle some more and pull it forward and off and into their mouths. It actually has a decent amount of protein and is good for them to eat. I rinse my babies off when they are shedding so they do not each much substrate, though it is best to let him do his thing and not bother him so he is not stressed. Mine are more than used to me.

I love when they shed. It's so neat. And I love how their colors are so bright after a fresh shed.
