Okay so what do I need to do? If i have his light on it kills the humidity of the tank. Does shedding inhibit their appetite, do they go to the bathroom when they shed or do they hold it in till after. How long does it take to shed?

Yup, they do it quite often, especially when they're growing. You really don't need to do anything, just watch or leave him in peace, heh. I don't think it will effect it's appetite at all and I have never seen one go to the bathroom and shed simultaneously, but that doesn't mean they can't. I don't know an exact time it takes them to shed, since I've never sat there and watched from start to finish. I don't think it would take much longer than half an hour to shed though.

It only counts if you ate it afterwards.

He's a blue samurai pacman frog and I bought him from somebody at a reptile expo that had bought it two years ago from Samurai reptiles.

NewFrogDude, your frog is alright. They don't always eat a lot, if at all. I have a frog who only takes food one or two times a week.

Okay well, he is just sitting on the substrate now, not even burrowing. I guess he is alright. He only ate 2 crickets today. Probably full on shed lol.
