i got him in a semiaquatic habitat and he is still a baby and i gave him some mealworms or pillbugs to eat im just not sure if they're eating it he just runs away from it why does he run away???

Rana erythraea is not a tree frog. If you've been granting it an arboreal habitat, semi-aquatic will be good for a change.

Origins will be quite important with regards to this species. Where, when did you get it?

i raised it from a tadpole he is now eating well i had him in aquatic habitats....
