    Default Fantasy frog feeding videos

I thought I'd share a couple of feeding videos I've done with one of my fantasy frogs.

Video of him eating waxworms and crickets (11/17)

This frog has had a staple diet of almost 100% crickets, until a few days ago. I may have finally figured out a way to convert him to eating worms!

Video of him eating a worm (11/24 -- this evening) -- with narration/sound -- and a little nutty twist at the end

    Enjoy

Well..... He looks very proficient at it ! He is very calm.

I have never owned a Pac.
But this must be easier on their digestive tract?
Can you alternate, so there is feeder variety?

    Lol! Thanks Lynn

Yes you can alternate between foods so basically you have 2 staples. I find that this helps if you run out of their main staple. Offering treats between meals is also good. Like pinky mice, Hornworms, Silkworms, Roaches, and Pacman Food. I personally don't like the idea of acman Food as a staple, but it can be used in that way. I just dont feel its good for them in large doses. It is convienient though.

This frog is my calmest pacman frog. I've tried worms before when he was housed on coco-fiber (now on foam), but he showed no interest. He loves his crickets, though. I feed nightcrawlers as a staple to my pacman frogs because they are the much more nutritious than crickets. He is small, and at least 6 months old, and I attribute his slow (probably stunted) growth and small size to his mostly cricket diet. In the past few days, with a total of eating 5 - 7 worms, I believe he's grown a bit (or at least fattened him up a bit). I try to feed some pacman food as well for variety, but some of mine won't eat it, including him. I found out I can't keep Dubia roaches where I live, so I can't use them as a feeder.

Looks good! He saw the tail squirming on that Night Crawler and couldn't resist. Nice videos.
