For heat I have a UTH on the side as well as a red bulb. That way I can really bump up the temp if it's getting really cold at night, or just turn one on for daytime.

Britta can remove straight chlorine from the water, but much chlorine used in water treatment reacts with organic matter, turning it into a type of trihalomethane. Britta can't remove THM's though. Humans mostly just care about the chlorine taste, so you're right there. I usually just don't go into the detail, but the chemical threat of chlorine-treated water to frogs isn't eliminated by the Britta

I have a Red Bulb (50W) on him now.. I am having a rough time stableizing heat vs humidity though. Light off, 80%HM Light on, 60%HM. Tricky little things I tell ya. I cleaned out his tank and re soaked all his substrate in the treated water. Just use Top Fin Water conditioner, and I threw a cricket in there for ghits and siggles, it died, a fast, horrible death.

If their substrate is appropriately moist, the ambient humidity can drop a little without it being a huge issue. Don't worry too much about it, just try to figure out a good system within a few days.
You can try putting saran wrap over 2/3 of the screen on top. That should help keep the humidity up.

Yeah, I got a sticky mat heater on the side of his tank now and I don't have "Saran Wrap" but the PetCo bag is doing nicely on top of the tank. Gonna run and grab some of that "Press N' Seal" stuff tomorrow.

lol Pretty much the same thing. Come to think of it my roommate from up north didn't know what Saran wrap was either. I think it might just be a southern brand.

So here is a question for you. My frog is a little smaller than a silver dollar, when feeding how many crickets should I feed him/her?

You can offer him 5 to 7 small crickets and if he appears to still be hungry offer 1 or 2 more. You can offer food daily since this is a crutial growth stage in the frog's life. You could offer less if the crickets are 3/4" then just offer 4 or 5 and he should be good.
