Help! Frog has worms

Probiotics definitely can keep help to keep bacteria in balance when choosing the appropriate ones. Worms though are a parasite needing medication . Parasites can be brought in via feeder insects and plants, though usually from insects. It's tough to know the source unless the frog has repetitive recontaminations after having been treated and cleared of the worms.

Panacur is a proven cure and is inexpensive. The vet provided does not charge a doctors fee, just med payment and fecal test, if requested. Just a thought in case you'd like his help.

Thanks for writing...my frogs are ok. I'm glad to know about Panacur and I have a vet, not an exotic one. I hope this person's frog is ok, too. Maybe worms did not come from frog but another source? Their size could indicate that. I'd have to know what this frog ate, too.
