I have a empty 18x18x18 tank that I want to setup.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to put in it?

Well yes.lol I really want to setup a pair of darts in it. Not sure what types would do well in that size of tank.

you can put to malaysian horned frogs
sorry don't know about darts
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Me either. I remember we use to have golden mantellas at my parents store. I'm pretty sure my parents imported them then. Now they are hard to find and spendy.
I don't want WC stuff right now. I'm really afraid to infect all my pacs with anything

There are some golden mantellas on Kingsnake.com right now. I also have an empty 18x18x24 and originally got it for dart frogs, but could never decide which kind. I've been leaning towards some fine spot leucs or some orange terribilis. Something with a loud and cool call. Either that or some Milky tree frogs or some type of waxy monkeys. Too many choices so the tank sits empty til I see something that can't be passed up.
Just go with your gut Mike, go to some local reptile shows and wait for something to strike your fancy. Meanwhile you could just set it up.
hey empty tank is not good, you gotta get some frogs  if you want something different with loud call go with waxys![]()
i have one empty tank too, but i don't think I'll put somebody in there anytime soon, i though i'll use it when i got new ones yesterday, but couldn't
too many memories... sorry didn't want to hijack the thread.

I might get some waxys from philippe. I have a 5 ft tall by 2ft wide and deep tank that would work well for them.

waxys are the weirdest frogs out there  you won't be disappointed.
middle are my boys, 1 and last pic my huge female.

You need to stop making me jealous, Lija. You have and keep getting the frogs I want.![]()
if you are going dart direction, i'd go with some Imitators. John breeds some really beautiful species.

John and Mike Novy are often at the Cleveland Reptile shows. Mike's store is Rainforest Junky's. They both have awesome dart frogs and Mike has tree frogs too.
