I got 3 of those off ebay for 52$ last week they're at 130-150$ here.

nice set up, and actually it got me thinking, mine is temporary and pretty basic, and a frog is not well, but when he is better i think i should do something similar with canister filter. how frequently are you changing water?

Lol, I don't even want to say..... I have been changing one to two times a week with four of the little pigs in there. Also the gravel I had before compounded the problem by trapping all the solids, then when got stirred up it would clog the filter. I changed to the bigger cannister about two weeks ago and its been a little better. We'll see how it does w/o the gravel.

The frogs love the water (imagine that...lol), but I don't know if it adds any well-being or health benefits. They are bullfrogs on the other hand so I think water that is a little deeper is beneficial to their happiness. Ultimately I like setting it up and it is more aesthetically pleasing. I would recommend a nice setup but keep it simple too. They will dig up your plants and smash them down so keep live plants simple. Start with a big cannister. I had to learn the hard way. I've gone through three different ones prior to the big one I use now.

I watched that video like an hour after you uploaded it, I was wondering when you'd post a thread about it. It looks great man, very nice setup. Makes me want to get a few pyxies. Unfortunately my house gets too cold in the winter and keeping temps at 85 degrees would probably get a bit costly in a big setup like that.

i wonder if I have smaller tank for my one pixie and smaller water area that is easy to clean and change water and put reptifilter for turtles that looks like yours in a corner but is actually a filter. My concern here is hassle of changing all that water + good canister filter is actually a bit pricey.
