Last night I had to go and get more crickets since I am going out of town fro the next few days.
I always stop and look at the reptile case and low and behold that was a small carrier
inside of the bearded dragon enclosure. I looked closer and it was a baby packman frog
halfway buried under the water dish that was empty.

I wanted so bad to rescue it. I asked to see the manager and showed him what was going on
and that it was gross neglect to the frog.
to live next to a full sized bearded dragon and have no water and dry substrate.

But if I came home with another mouth to feed my wife would divorce me.

I felt so bad for that little soul.

It's sad, but we can't save them all. I see this kind of situation all to often and all we can do is explain to the store what's wrong and hope the follow it.

that is just so sad and that is why we have so many animals in our house
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Lija he's a cute little guy, and everyone else that shared pictures in this thread your pacmans are beautiful. I just a had a question to ask you Lija, what is that your using as a water dish? I like the smooth edges and it has perfect depth, and also looks very easy to clean.

Walmart, 1 or 2$ ceramic dish for plant pots. Love them! Cheap, easy to desinfect and most importantly perfect depth/diameter ratio for pacs.

Is there something wrong with your frog? It looks either very bloated or morbidly obese.
