    Default is she to thin?

    I noticed jewl is seems thin in comparison to other red eyes. Is she to thin??

    i feed her range of 4-5 crickets a day and she'll eat her fill.

    Red eyes are generally not voracious eaters nor do they have a tendency to get pudgy, so a little scrawniness isn't quite the cause for concern as it might be in other species. I think the males can be territorial but I have not personally observed any bullying behavior among my own. They generally know when to stop eating on their own, so as long as you make food constantly available in the tank (I recommend keeping feeders in a bowl) she should be fine. I have 2 males and a female in the same tank and introduce food every night, not because they eat so often, but just so that if they want to, it's there. Not all of them will feed on the same given night, so having constant availability ensures than nobody misses out.

    Don't ration her food.
    If she leaves a few in the bowl-just throw them back into the cricket bin!
