Hello I have 2 Fire belly toads.
I went to feed them today and noticed my older one (male) kind of floating in the shallows.
I tried to take him out he flipped on his back and just floated there I got him out wrapped him in a towel and now he is in warm water (just a bit) with a dash of honey.
He is defintely sick and just is kind of lying on his stomach.
I have pictures. I also notice he looks chubbier than yesterday and has a bit of fluff like when a goldfish dies

I moved him onto a warm cloth on the land of the tank. He seems to have very poor motor skills. I have no idea what to do as no vets or stores are open right now

2. # of inhabitants - specifically other frogs and size differences
3. Humidity
4. Temperature
5. Water - type - for both misting and soaking dish
6. Materials used for substrate
7. Enclosure set up i.e. plants (live or artificial), wood, bark and other materials.
- How were things prepared prior to being put into the viv.
8. Main food source
9. Vitamins and calcium? (how often)
10. Lighting
11. What is being used to maintain the temperature of the enclosure
12. When is the last time he/she ate
13. Have you found poop lately
14. A pic would be helpful including frog and enclosure (any including cell phone pic is fine)
15. How old is the frog
16. How long have you owned him/her
17. Is the frog wild caught or captive bred
18. Frog food- how often and if it is diverse, what other feeders are used as treats
19. How often the frog is handled
20. Is the enclosure kept in a high or low traffic area
21. Describe enclosure maintenance (water changes, cleaning, etc)

2. # of inhabitants - specifically other frogs and size differences 2 FBT same length the female is chubbier
3. Humidity - tropical 70-80%
4. Temperature - 72-74 degrees
5. Water - type - for both misting and soaking dish - treated tap water
6. Materials used for substrate - water, pebbles, moss matt
7. Enclosure set up i.e. plants (live or artificial), wood, bark and other materials. artificial plants aquarium gravel
- How were things prepared prior to being put into the viv. - soaked in very hot water
8. Main food source - crickets
9. Vitamins and calcium? (how often) every 3 days
10. Lighting - n/a reptile light when I am present
11. What is being used to maintain the temperature of the enclosure - regulated water heater
12. When is the last time he/she ate - 3 days
13. Have you found poop lately no
14. A pic would be helpful including frog and enclosure (any including cell phone pic is fine)
15. How old is the frog - unsure had adopted him from a friends mom's friend who
had rescued him
16. How long have you owned him/her - 2-3 months
17. Is the frog wild caught or captive bred - pet store I was told
18. Frog food- how often and if it is diverse, what other feeders are used as treats
19. How often the frog is handled - a few times a week to feed
20. Is the enclosure kept in a high or low traffic area low
21. Describe enclosure maintenance (water changes, cleaning, etc) leaning surfaces change small buckets of water

I don't see anything that would be causing issues. Can you get him to a vet tomorrow? I'm sorry I can't help more.

That is good to hear Thank you yes I will try. It's too bad because I know that he lived with a few different owners mostly being little boys so I am not sure what his situation was like before. He always acted a bit funny from the time I got him and he is a poor eater
