    You can use a very diluted bleach solution and scrub with a soft sponge. Make sure to rinse VERY well to get all of the bleach out. White vinegar is great for removing calcium deposits.

    Lol thanks for the replies will give it a good scrubbing with bleach in the weekend.
    My new question is... how does a fish disintergrate???

    Improper care for the tank, water changes, and poor water quality would be my guess. I have never personally seen nor heard of such a thing.

    pH could have gotten way off with too much bio-load in the tank and could have became acidic? Maybe...
