They are truly amazing looking. It's hard not to stare. There eyes draw you in lol ... The 2 I have are so different too. Personality wise at least. One is very shy an easy going the other is so bold an always all over the tank. Lol

I looked for about a year for anyone that had them locally an ended up with zip then went to my local reptile expo here in Sacramento CA an still nothing. To say the least I was so bumb. But then Patrick from saurien (apologize if I spelled that wrong) lol had some ready to ship. An even though I'm sooooo sceptial ordering them online it is slim an I mean slim pickings here in cali. So after a back an forth convo with him I placed my order. An let me tell you I am so pleased. They cane in such great health an with such care that I plane on ordering a few more from his next clutch. an might even take on the cinnamon frogs he breeds as well. But that's a future possible project will see but I would highly recommend him.

That's awesome.. I plan on getting them a bigger tank as they grow but I have them in a exi terra Shri Lanka 18x18x24 witch is plenty of room for them to grow out in. There no bigger then my thumb right now . I do have pics in my albums. The tank album shows no cover pic but there are pics in there nothing too crazy. But it does the trick while they are still growing .

Smaller would b fine. they were very tiny when I got them an I housed them in a 12x12x18 simple exo terra set up till I knew they were eating well an doing well. You know the good old stand by stuff I only have a pair now myself but may get 1-2 more some time in the future. Grow them up a lil an start on a much bigger tank. Then maybe do a more crazy set up for them but defiantly center it all around water. *I keep them at a high humidity witch you don't have to but it helps with them not spending all there time in the water an wandering more around the tank. But they are big eaters. Least these 2 little ones are. I hope to get allot more creative an crazy with my dart frog tank I'm starting. Got the itch to try my hand at some darts. Eekkk lol sort of excited. Lol

;So they like being around water? I see yet another paludarium in my future. Yay! And i too, have been bitten by the dart bug, hence the mantella tank. Too many builds, not enough time!!!

Yes they are semi aquatic frogs. So having the tank be at least half water is very important. But it makes it so fun can't wait to see your finished build. I wish I had more time for builds myself. I know I might not even have my dart frog tank ( in the making) probably even planted till the new year lol.

If it's any consolation, i'll have mine done, but not truly planted until after the new year as well. Cash will be tight until after xmas, and i am looking at an orchid order of about $125.....good grief!!! Lol

Haha well I don't feel like I'm lagging to bad then lol . I still need to to do allot but it's only a small 10gal tank. Baby steps with my first darts lol. Plus I'm having trouble really finding the ones I want. ( mint terribilis) I'd much rather get them from a private breeder. So we will see. Omg $125 orders yicks!!!! Ya $ will defiantly be tight till after the holidays plus all the travilong for family time. Busy busy. Yes deffinatly check out his care sheets he has alot of knowledge.
