Not sure. Haven't ordered from them. I know people who ordered shrimp from them and had no problems. They just never have what i want in stock when i want it. Lol

Maybe that's what it is... But I would still much rather go directly to the source an get them from a breeder. So if you hear anything thru the grape vine let me know )

Will do. you may want to email them though. I know they breed a majority of their shrimp, not sure about frogs though

well see, now you have me thinking. i got my retf tank on the build table now. then i gotta get together a home for Fidel. after that i was planning a clay background d. leucomelas tank in my custom 60g. NOW i'm thinking how that would make a fantastic mossy paludarium!!

I have ordered shrimp from Alpha Pro Breeders before and I got most of my bumblebee walking toads from them. They have all been well packed and the animals healthy. I would not hesitate buying frogs (or shrimp) from them.

I bet that would look awesome. you will have to let me know how that goes I wish I had more time to put into a big 100 gal + tank. Have you worked with clay befor? Iv tried the kitty litter clay background an it was not so successful. Looked great at first but slowly after a few months it just fell apart. So I'm trying great stuff. Now finding more then a hr a week an maybe I'll get some headway lol.

nope, never worked with clay before. but that is only if i were to go with Leucs. i think for this type frog, a more asian/pacific them is required. something like a rocky stream. i don't know yet. i still have to get through the red eye tank first. And i still have to order orchids for the mantella tank. oh yeah, and i have to get the frogs...lol

That's sort of the theme I geared mine twords. They defiantly like to hide in the groves an cuts in the cork bark. Right by the waters edge. I need to do some more plant ordering myself. Seems like most of the places I try are either out of a few things I'm looking for constantly an I hate to do orders at all diff vendors since shipping can add up quick. But if an when I do find all the plants I want. I'm going to clone them. Another great thing those hydroponic stores sell that way I can self suppy all my plants for my tanks )
