    Default Red Eyed Frogs

Greetings, I'm new to this forum and to frogs. I purchased 2 Red Eyed Tree Frogs yesterday and put them in a 20 gal. tank. I set it up with plants water, etc. Since I put them in the tank they have been hanging on to the side of the tank (Glass) for about 18hrs now. Is this normal? Please advise. Thanks.

    Welcome to Frog Forum,
The answer is YES!. You will want to cover-up three sides of the tank ( ie brown paper bag- temporarily ) to help the frogs feel more secure. Keep a simple tank for now- get to know them. DO NOT handle them--unless absolutely necessary. Keep them in a quite area. Provide a day/night light cycle. Shallow water dish ( de-chlorinate water) , feed them well, and dust small crickets ---properly w/ vitamins and calcium supplements.

    You're welcome!
They are probably stressed and tired.
They'll come around; they just need some time.

    Enjoy them, Lynn
