    Question Fire Belly Supplements

    Hi all

So yeah, I was just wondering what supplement / gut load / dusting products etc people use? Currently looking at some different options at the moment, so would appreciate all your thoughts on this!

    Cheers,
    Dan

Repashy, Herptivite, and Fluker's Calcium with D3 are good products for dusting.

What happens if crickets aren't gut loaded? Is this still okay? Just curious...

Crickets alone don't have much nutritional value so I think it is important to gut load and dust with calcium and multivitamins. I gut load with cricket gut load from Josh's Frogs, orange slices, potato slices, carrot slices, etc. I dust with Rep-Cal calcium with D3 3 times a week and Rep-Cal Herptivite twice a week.

I know its good to gut load crickets, what happens if I can't always do that? My crickets don't keep long enough as hard as I've tried to keep them. I even have trouble with worms from store: I did give mealworms small piece potato or apple and they still turned into empty shells. I did feed and house crickets right. The store actually sells dead worms to people: I check about 8 containers before I find one that is okay.
