ive hade some meen pixies and sometimes it helps to hold them to tame.. BUT on the other hand ive been bitten ALOT from trying this so its really up to the frog if it likes you LOL

Locascio, my dwarf is really cool he has some really cool features to him but ill tell ya he is the pickiest frog i got he will not eat a mouse and has never ate a mouse, he will hiss at me sometimes but he is a good boy.


Emily, that's a cool name i think he just has to realize that he is not going far and that he is in your custody Once a month i give my shower a good cleaning fill'er up, throw my frogs in there to let out the adhd in em lol but honestly i sometimes hold them, i make it apparent that i am the one that feeds them and after a good meal i give them a little rub on the head and let them be a frog again

The only time I ever pick up Keroro is for his photo shoots
And that's once a week for maybe 10 minutes at the most. He jumps and struggles so much I'm just afraid of accidentally injuring him, so I do it as little as possible.
If I handle him more are you saying it'll desensitize him to it? Because everything I've read says to handle them very little (fragile skin, etc). But hey, I'm open to trying something new if it's safe. Not expecting him to get puppydog-friendly of course lol

Just a side-note, he isn't aggressive at all just skittish.

I really like the bathtub idea. I bet he would enjoy it too. I do it for my snake, so I could make a day of it.

yea i only pick up to transport but sometimes i like to hold them, i notice if there footing are not right they will spaz out but yea i am not saying hold him everyday like the care sheets say handle them very little and i noticed when picking up they always like to take a couple steps in your hand just put one hand in front of the other "be careful of the pixie if he is hungry" and they tend to just stay in your hand and they will make it apparent if they don't wanna be held they try to jump or they will piss on you haahah
