    Default New Pacman Day

I just wanted to show some pics of this new girl I picked up today. She's just a normal green cranwelli I think, with some great orange/red splashed in there. Not sure if she's full grown but she is a decent size, don't know if she's reached maturity. I saw her at the reptile show and they thought it was a male.. I made an offer and got a good deal so I'm real happy with her.

I planned on going to the show and picking up some strawberry babies but the guy didn't have any, so disappointment ensued.. I walked around a bit, saw a baby green ornate for $45! Said no way, than saw her and picked her up. At least I'm pretty sure it's a girl, there is no nuptial pad and she is bigger than all my males.

Its a female. Nice coloring. By the way $45.00 isn't bad for an Ornate.

Yeah, I thought about it afterwards, considering you normally have to pay $40.00 for shipping to get them online. I'd rather have got this frog anyway. There was a ton of frogs today, fire walking, mossy tree frogs, whites, albino red eye, pyxie frogs, TINY TINY TINY Solomon Isle leaf frogs!! I wanted some SO bad just couldn't afford them. They were the size of a pencil eraser, so awesome.. I might contact the seller and try and get a few. They were really cool.

Thanks Heather. I offered her some pacman food today and she kindly refused. I'm debating on whether to wait til she's hungrier to try again or offer her a Nightcrawler. I just got the pacman food in the mail today, I'm gonna try and get all my frogs started on it. My big lime green inhaled it instantly.. the others refused as expected since they ate last night. My albino is just a pig and she takes whatever I offer.

Thanks Jay. She just ate her first meal for me, a nightcrawler. I tried to get her to eat some pacman food but she just sat there and stared. She saw the worm and went for it after I set it on the ground though. I've also decided that she's a Brown Cranwelli.. I don't know why I ever thought green. She's been staying on the foam and she's really brightened her colors, she looks great. I'll be sure to post some more pictures of her in a day or two.

She has some really nice oranges.. I'm thinking of calling her Pumpkin, lol. That name keeps popping in my head for her.

Cute name . Once they get a taste of the pacman food they usually like it. Try sticking a little ball of it next to the worm. Maybe they'll accidentally snatch it up .

Her colors didn't change that much, her oranges do stand out a little more though. She just sucked down two huge nightcrawlers before I took this picture..
