    Question new with question(antongilii)

    Wat up guys
I'm getting my first few Dyscophus antongilii baby, since I'm getting three of them, there should be at least a female among them, and I really wish the females could have a more rich red appearance when they grow up. So to achieve that, wat should I offer them except their daily diet, do I have to offer any particular food?
    Have a nice weekend all.

You positive you're getting Antongilii and not Guineti? I know the Antongilii are on lists as endangered and threatened.. maybe that's not an issue in China. Anyway, I've heard that some light UVB lighting will help with brightening their skin color. I don't know this for fact, it's just what I've heard. I have three D. guineti. and two of them are getting nice colors, while one is a dull orange. The others are a darkish orange/red, not a bright red like you see in some pictures of wild tomato frogs. I just feed mine dubia roaches and crickets, mainly crickets dusted with a multivitamin+calcium from Repashy. The crickets and roaches are fed lots of lettuce/red lettuce, purina cat food, apples.. fruits and vegetables that I have laying around the house.

Sorry if this wasn't very helpful, haha, I'm just going off my own experience with them so far. I've had them since early august. I have a thread here I just posted recently with some pictures of mine.

Here is a pic of one of my more colorful ones and a pic of all three so you can compare.. their colors kind of change. The one of the top right tends to change from real light dull orange to darker sometimes. I'm not sure what sex they are yet, but I do know that one of the red ones does call. I think I have two males and a female, atleast I hope so.

Hey, Pluke. First of all, your tomato frogs look awesome, and don't worry if they are not getting the bright red color, wat I've heard is CB tomato frogs usually won't have the bright red color, I guess that's why considerable number of keepers in my country keep the WC ones instead

I'm quite sure that I'm getting three CH Antongilii instead of Guineti, there is this guy in CHina breed his own this year. Usually I'm not a big fan for tomato frogs, however I was told the antongilii is normally very coslty to get, that's why i decside to buy three of them. hopefully I won't get triple male...
