    Default Aquarium decor

I bought these rocks to decorate my aquariums with and I need to know if they are safe to put with my pacmans. They are black and the package says "polished river stones" is there an actual polish on them? Is so can I boil them in water to melt away the polish or would these be safe to put in just as is?

Polished means that the stones have been run through a tumbler that smoothes out the roughness of the stones. Probably sand or corncob tumbler. They don't actually have a polish on them or the fish would die.

My fear would be the frog may ingest them depending on size.

That was my fear as well. Their mouths are so big!

Unless the stones are 3/4 the size of the frog they can't be used. Anything small enough to fit in their mouths is a no go.

The stones are fairly big. About the size of each frog and are quite heavy as well so I'm not worried about them being ingested
