    Default Buterworms

Are Butterworms safe to feed to Pacmans without worry of impaction? I just bought 10, surely they are better than superworms.

Edit: Yes, I am aware they are very fatty and will feed sparingly. My main concern is chitin.

Only offer them as a treat. The high fat combined with the chitin can be bad if Fed too often. Good to use occasionally for variety.

If you're looking for something with high calcium and good protein (17% when medium sized, more if larger) and Zero chitin

I suggest you look up Phoenix worms

You'll really like what you find!

They can also be fed more frequently as they are lower in fat (only 9% when medium, which is comparable to crickets averaging 6%) I would venture these could be part of the staple diet and it would be similar to calcium supplementation

I was actually debating between the phoenix worms and the butterworms. Arent phoenix worms very small though? Like 3 week cricket size? The ones I were looking at already appeared to small for my Pacman. How big do they get?
