    Default Amazon Milk Frogs?

Anybody here working with them? Saw some at the Tinley Park NARBC and would like to work with them at some point.....I'd love to see pics of your frogs or setups and hear why you like them (other than their obviously awesome appearance).

I happened to have purchased two from Michael Novy at a herp show about a year and a half ago. They are both alive and well, and they are my favorite because they are more active than any of the other tree frogs that I have currently or have kept in the past. Also they don't seem to mind being handled at all, they seem to be even more comfortable with handling than White's. I don't handle the frogs very often but when I do they just grab onto my fingers, they don't try to jump away or anything, it's actually difficult to get them off of your hands!

I have two babies I got on craiglist for $30 or something crazy cheap like that. They were pretty skinny when I got them, but they are fattening up. One was a little bigger than the other, and he is all about tong feeding. The small one so far won't tong feed, but sits on the edge of their feeding bowl all night eating. They don't seem to mind sleeping in plain sight, which is awesome. I haven't tried too much handling because I believe it can compromise the immune system of such a young fragile creature, I have heard they are pretty tolerant of handling as adults. Definitely looking forward to that! I love any animal I can put in a planted vivarium.

I dream of having amazon milk frogs in a planted vivarium, but I don't know where to start as far as setting up a habitat. Looking for advice on size needed and quantity of frogs that can live together. Also if they can co-exisit with other species.

Got two little cuties. Its great to see them hunting and stuff. I try to tong feed them to have more control of their rations.
For a small group I would take something like 20x20 inch for the base and maybe up to 40 and look how they are doing.
They seem to love orchids and places to hide above the ground.
