There is a simple solution for what to do with the left over Eco Earth.. Get more frogs.

On a serious note, before I was using the whole bricks I would use a hammer and chisel to break/split the bricks in half before soaking them.. so yeah, if you have something like that handy you could try it. Just make sure the chisel is clean.
