I'm at a bit of a crossroads here... I have 2 - 40 gallon long tanks, one housing a 4 year old female ABF and the other housing a 4 month old young male. The females enclosure has a 4 gallon pool that I made her, filter and all. However the males tank is an exo terra with the slots on the front, so a pool is impossible.
Now, I got him a HUGE water dish, but it gets very dirty fast and it's very hard to carry/clean.
I've read it is possible to keep them together... As you can see from my profile pic, they've both met and are both very healthy, no signs of anything. They are around the same size, and Big Bertha is a really BIG female, so I don't see them eating each other any time soon. If fed separately, do you think I could keep them together, to cut down on tanks or even use the empty 40 as a "project" tank![]()
I'm not sure what to do here...
