I have been told that albinos tend to be fussy/picky eaters. I just bought my first c. Cranwelli and was thinking of getting an albino.
Thoughts?
Whoever told you that must be one of those people that believe their snake only eats white mice.lol
They feed the same
I had my doubts about the statement that they are fussy. I just wanted to confirm it with other frog freaks( I say that endearingly)
My albino happens to be my least picky eater. In fact, my green cranwelli refuses anything that isn't a nightcrawler. >_<
You guys know what this means...I may be getting an albino! XD
Probably the species most know to be picky eaters would be the Cornutas. But overall pickiness tends to be an individual trait. Each of my Pacs have different appetite levels and different likes/dislikes for types of food.
my pac man is the most pickiest eater of all time he wont eat crickets roaches he has only had 1 mouse since i have had him and it's been a while i have repetedly tryied over and over he will eat any thing fishy like shrimp fish and so on.
I agree with Grif, I have three albinos and each has his/her own individual appetite. One will eat everything, and consequently is several times larger than the others. Another will eat most things, but is less ravenous than the one previously described. And lastly, one is a picky eater and is tiny compared to the others. Also I have a caatinga that will only eat crickets/roaches, so it seems you have a chance of getting a picky eater regardless of species.
