Poorly Frog??

I have agreed to take on this pacman frog from a lady,it seems to have something wrong with him,eating and moving normally but having something sticking out under the skin,I will be getting it this afternoon,anyone seen anything like it before?this is thread on another forum sorry but need it to show pics of this frog Is my Horned Frog ok? - Reptile Forums Uk I know you think I am probably mad but I didnt want him/her to get into the wrong hands

It looks like an injury to the base of the spine/beginning of the pelvic girdle, i.e. broken bones that have not set correctly. I don't envy that frog but it's likely he'll be fine like that. In any case, it won't improve. It's possible he metamorphosed that way but without an X-ray it's impossible to know (and it won't help). I don't think it's a deficiency but do make sure you supplement his food correctly.
