Default Tadpole with bent tail. Is this okay?

This is a large Bull Frog Tadpole I bought today. His name is Wesker. His tail is really bent, is this okay? Will he develop okay? Also, I got TWO totally different stories about how to house this guy when he grows up. One person in the store said Mostly water, only a little land. The other said, mostly land with a water bowl. Any advice?
