    I don't know how far they can see, but mine will be located on one side of the tank and see the crickets crawling and start making it's move to the other side. So I think good enough to hunt.

    Mine seem to go by sound and movement of a cricket, especially movement of a plant or water. I just wondered about their vision. They are usually not afraid of my hand with my tool to hold a worm in front of them. Like you said, they probably do see well enough to hunt.
