Hi Spiderlover, as also an owner of WC Cornuta, I have three suggestions. One is that the American bullfrogs have a high chance of carrying chytrid fungus, let it be wild caught, farm-raised, from North America, or Asia. It is something to be cautious about. Two is that Cornutas are notorious for unwilling to feed in captivities. So that leads to my last suggestion: maybe you should think about force-feeding your frog, unless you can condition and train them to eat safer food like crickets, nightcrawlers, or samurai pacman food, etc.
You can keep feeding bullfrogs to them but I'm afraid they'll catch chytridiomycosis sooner or later. Or you can train them to eat the safer food I mentioned previously, but it may not work. So that pretty much leaves you force-feeding these picky frogs, or simply don't purchase WC frogs. There are CB Cornuta babies available that are willing to take safe, healthy food.

I really have nothing valuable to offer there. ACF is another frog that are likely to carry chytrid, since they (and bullfrogs) can carry chytrid and won't develop chytridiomycosis.

It isn't sad. Cornuta are Frog eaters, plain and simple. They specialize in feeding on other Reptiles and Amphibians, so it's a fact of life for these animals......

for one they do eat food other then frogs, feeding them frogs are not just sad but it is also not understandable and not ethical especially for those who breed and own bullfrogs and ACF as pets. Same would go for those people who feed kittens to their boas. I'm sorry I don't understand that and never will.

I personally would never buy WC frog if there is a chance of getting CB, besides feeding and other problems that go with WC i much rather support CB businesses.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Really interesting to see, but it does make it visually tough when the feeder prey is also cute : )
