They all look like pure Cornuta. But if you're asking what the feeder frogs were then I have no clue.

Great looking frogs! Just don't forget the risk of potentially infecting your frogs with chytrid fungus carried by the feeder frogs. I would recommend you to feed them crickets, earthworms, mice (once a month), and samurai pacman food. Just so that you don't have to worry about introducing this pathogenic fungus to your beautiful Cornutas!

Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

No. Key word singular. Thats why I capitalized the word "WAS". "Was" being the past tense indicator that obviously I was referring to the frog that had been eaten.

But there are multiple frogs being eaten. The way your question was worded is what is causing confusion. Should have asked "What kind of frog was being used as a feeder?" I'm not bashing you, just playing around. Hope you weren't offended.

The only way I think it would be a confusing question is if the Cornuta had passed away. I thought the use of the key word WAS had made it pretty clear. But no offense taken.

Since there are multiple frogs the need to differentiate between the two would need to be specified. That's all I was saying.

I understand the sadness that comes from feeding frogs to frogs, usually I wouldn't advise it due to as others mentioned, Chytrid primarily, however with wild caught Cornuta (as I assume those are) it can be very hard to get them to eat in captivity. One type of food they almost never refuse is another frog. It may be in the same terrarium / container for a day or even a week, but it will be eaten. It also provides enough of a meal so that the frog doesn't need to eat as often and still gets all its nutrients.

Best bet is to get the frogs from a captive bred source and then there's no issue (besides the sadness)
