    Default new with question

    Hi I was given an albino pacman today, i dont usualy jump into something without doing some research first but there really was no choice.

    I am setting up an enclosure 10 gal tank most recomend ecoearth or similar material this isn't available in my area.
    So here is my question what can I use as temporary substrate ? would repibark be ok ? suggestions.

    you are ordering eco earth, is it right? so until you get it you can use as you were advised wet paper towels and you need to change them every day. make sure you have some sort of hide.

    Nearest one is 60 miles or so away. I am in Michigan

    please dont use bark or wood chips of any kind pacs dont aim real well when trying to get there food and even a lil wood chips would be very bad for him

    Use paper towels as was stated above and be sure to use a de-chlorinating agent like Prime it Repti-Safe to treat the tap water for the frog. Chlorine and Chlorimines must be removed from the tap water before use and so the best way to do so is to purchase one of these conditioners. Another option is to use natural spring water.

    Paper towels must be replaced daily and every time theyre soiled by the frog. Water changes must be preformed every time the frog enters the water source and if not entered then every two days so that it doesn't become stagnant.

    Thanks everyone have him comfortable for now. the ecoearth will be in Monday, so will have him squared away.
