    I was looking at Woodhouse toads and saw this.
    Maybe I'm mistaken, but from what I've read, isn't selling wild caught Colorado River toads illegal?
    It is illegal but no one can get introuble unless they are caught collecting them. Its hard to prove they are wild caught and thats why they still get away with it.

    I might be wrong, but isn't it only illegal if the toads come from a certain area (such as Arizona or New Mexico)? I could be totally off base here.....

    I believe you are right.
    I was under the impression that the only places they were found wild (for the most part) were these areas though?
