My female adf died i just fed it a asian greenback frog tiny size and i bought it from petstore and said safe for fish or frogs they named it as "feeder" frogs and it just killed my frog also the feeder frog is dead already i regret this T_T ill try getting a new female tomorrow i shouldnt trust a petstore
How little was the "feeder" frog? ADFs aren't exactly big as is. Why would you think it was a good idea and then come here asking about it? Seems obvious what happened.
Don't mix amphibians and don't feed them to each other. There are plenty of other tasty things out there for them to eat.
Considering albino ADF are extremely rare. I am going to wager this was an ACF.. ACF will eat about anything so to OP.. no reason to feed these guys other frogs, it's risky as you found out first hand unfortunately.. a safer diet would be pellets (reptomin), thawed frozen foods, and earthworms.
These frogs do just fine on reptomin alone.
I know Im but feeding frogs to frogs? seeeems a tad strange for a pet store to advertise
