Went to a reptile expo yesterday and picked up this little guy. They are such a NEAT species; very inquisitive and easy to handle for a small lizard species.
My boyfriend holding him.
I love them I just hate how small they are

That is a very interesting little species...just look at how cute that face is! Very nice coloration on him too, nice pick up!

I actually like how small they are. The more you can have! They max out at about 6" and like I mentioned even for a small lizard species they are really easy to handle and don't stress about it like smaller species usually do.
Yes. My boyfriend is a fan of the Boondock Saints movies. His face is very ADORABLE and I would have picked up the other, who wasn't as nicely colored and patterned as he was, but I didn't have the funds for a second. Perhaps she will still have the other come the next show there. If not, I plan to pick up a female online.
I have a steppe runner that I got in July. I love him but his tank is small (10gallon). He is the first reptile I have ever owned. He is sweet but whenever I hold him he runs up my arm out of the tank and tries to run around the house which wouldn't be a problem for me if there were't so many places for him to hide and a dog that likes eying him up. I want to create him a place outside his tank that he can runaround and be safe in like a pen or something. Any ideas? Thank you!
